HR Buildings Pty Ltd is a medium sized company employing 50

people. Recruitment, selection and induction processes are managed by the HR team. The company recently undertook a employee survey about its human resources functions. A number of comments were received as follows:

·        I would like to be involved in interviewing of candidates I am going to manage, rather than HR taking on this function.

·        Need more involvement in the recruitment process to make sure employees are really suited to the work.

·        Overall, very happy with my team but a couple of instances where if I had been involved in the recruitment process, it would have been better.

·        Would like to input into HR strategic planning processes.

·        HR functions need to be reviewed by all staff.
